Historic Style Fire Poker

Made in the Tiny Wood Stove blacksmith forge, this fire poker is a great way to tend the fire in your Dwarf stove.

We found this design for a fire poker in an 1800’s mining museum in Park City, Utah.  It features a simple bent poker and octagonal hand-hewn wood handle.

With this poker, we’ve scaled the 1800’s museum piece to fit a tiny living space and the Dwarf stove.  The hand forged poker is made from 3/8″ American steel and sealed with linseed oil.

The handle is made from repurposed pallet wood.  The handle is made entirely with a hand plane and manual hand drill -just as the people of the 1800s would have done.  The handle is finished with linseed oil.

This poker not only helps you tend your fire but it comes with a great story and look for your tiny space.
