Description

Not all chimney pipe is created equal

What sets one pipe apart from another is the design and the testing behind it: wall material and thickness, dense insulation that won’t settle or shift, joints that seal tight and go together easily, and, most of all, a full system tested and listed for wood stoves. MightyVent 5″ pipe is built for small wood stoves, twists together in one turn, and is listed to UL 103 Type HT.

What chimney pipe does

Chimney pipe carries a wood stove’s exhaust through your ceiling, wall or roof. The insulated double wall keeps flue gas hot for a strong draft and less creosote, while keeping the outer jacket cool enough to pass safely near combustibles.

Tested for safety: why UL listed pipe matters

UL listed pipe is put through independent lab testing, from everyday wood stove heat to a simulated chimney fire. MightyVent’s listing gives you a proven 2″ clearance to combustibles, so you know exactly where it can safely run.

What makes MightyVent different

  • 304 stainless on both walls. The inner wall stands up to flue-gas moisture and creosote, and the polished outer jacket stands up to weather.
  • Equally sturdy walls. Both walls are made from the same heavy stainless for a rigid, dent-resistant pipe.
  • 1.18″ ceramic fiber blanket. High-density ceramic fiber fills the space between the walls to keep heat in the flue and the jacket cooler.
  • 6-tooth twist-lock joint. Sections twist together and lock in one turn. A pipe clamp is included with each section to lock the joint.
  • Sized for small stoves. The 5″ flue suits small wood stoves, and the compact 7.28″ jacket works well in RVs, boats, saunas and other small spaces.
