Description
What a tee does
On a wall exit, the pipe passes horizontally through a wall thimble into the side of the tee, and the chimney continues straight up from the top. The bottom of the tee rests on the tee bracket and is capped, which gives you an easy clean-out.
What makes MightyVent different
- Fully insulated junction. Ceramic fiber surrounds the flue through the whole tee, including the branch.
- Insulated clean-out cap with drain. The cap is insulated too, comes off for sweeping, and has a 3/4″ NPT threaded drain with a stainless plug.
- 304 stainless inside and out. The inner wall stands up to flue-gas moisture and creosote, and the polished outer wall stands up to weather.
- Clamps included. The tee and the cap each come with a clamp, so assembly is quick and the cap comes off easily for cleaning.
- UL listed. Part of the MightyVent UL 103 Type HT chimney system.
