Where did you install your stove? Do you stay in cold climates much?

We installed the stove in our 30' International skoolie (school bus)! Our tiny wood stove lived at the front on our space, adjacent to our lounge area. Yes, we were in a cold climate for the winter months in Colorado.

How did your tiny living journey begin and what were your reasons?

The idea of tiny living initially came to light when we were living in San Diego, CA. At the time we were looking for a change of pace, freedom to move about (see the country), and put simply - a flexible alternative lifestyle. We were over the moon when we found folks were renovating school buses into tiny home. We loved the idea of the school bus because it offered more space for full time living and we didn't have to tow it behind a vehicle. We lived in our space for about 2 years and even with some of the challenges, we absolutely loved it!!

How did you decide on a Dwarf stove?

We decided on the Dwarf stove due to its quality, aesthetic, and heat retention. The multiple air valves were a total selling point because it offered the ability to get more longevity out of a single burn throughout the night. In addition, the variety of flute systems gave multiple ways we could make the stove work in the given space. OH! and let us not forget, the peak through window with all the cozy vibes from the ambiance of the fire.

How difficult was the installation process? Did you need any assistance of any kind?

The installation process was very straight forward! Prior to installation/ordering we had reached out to support to make sure all the correct parts were ordered - super helpful team! We went with the roof exit flute system and had no problem getting everything put in.

How has your experience been using the Dwarf? Have you been enjoying having a tiny wood stove in your space?

We loved it!! We found starting a fire in the stove was easy, quick and straightforward. Having a woodstove in our tiny space offered such a tangible feeling of home on the road.

Would you recommend a tiny wood stove to others?

Absolutely! We had some really cold winter days/nights in Colorado and our stove kept our space warm and toasty. It also offered more than just heat as we used it to cook/warm up water, and was a beautiful piece to add to the overall design of our space.

Would you like to add anything?
