does the roof support bracket come with additional hardware like screws? My chimney is 40 plus inches above the roof line how strong of winds can it withstand. can I use a shorter chimney pipe?

      John-
The bracket does not come with mounting hardware because every roof can be different and you’ll want to use the hardware best for your roofing material (metal, composite, etc.). We do not have a wind rating for these so I can’t say what the max wind speed they can withstand is. According to the 3-2-10 rule, the chimney opening needs to be 3′ above the roof penetration/edge of the roof depending on if its a roof exit or wall exit, or 2′ above any part of the structure within 10′, whichever is higher.
