What’s Included
We’ve put together a complete hardware kit using components rated for the high heat of wood-burning stoves and designed to work specifically with wall exit installs in framed structures.
This kit includes all components listed above. The kit does NOT contain enough stove/chimney pipe for most installations. Use our Kit Builder Tool to calculate and add the correct pipe lengths for your setup.
What Else You’ll Need
- Stove/Chimney pipe: Add 5” diameter single-wall and double-wall pipe sections using our Kit Builder Tool.
- Basic tools: Screwdriver, ladder, level and/or plumb bob, wax pencil or sharpie, tools to cut a hole in your exterior wall, screws to attach your flange to your wall inside and out, and to attach the tee support and wall support to the exterior of your structure, latex or silicone caulk to seal behind the thimble flange on the exterior of your structure
- You may need: Angle grinder with a metal cutoff blade to cut single-wall pipe, sheet metal crimpers to adjust crimps, drill, stud sensor, heat-safe lubricant like spray graphite to prevent stainless hardware from binding.
- Hearth protection
- Optional: Heat shielding
Installation Resources
This kit is DIY-friendly and built for first-timers, but does require some level of comfort using basic tools. That said, always follow local codes and safety best practices. Consult a pro if you’re unsure.
