Fits Pipe Outside Diameter: 6″ – 12″ (trim to fit)
Base Dimensions: 18″ x 18″
Color: Red
Material: High-temp silicone, rated -58°F to 392°F continuous at the roofline (up to 482°F intermittent)
Roof Pitch: 0° to 45° (flat up to 12/12)
Features a flexible aluminum-edged base for forming the boot to fit over standing seam or corrugated metal roofs.
Trim the cone along the molded ring just smaller than your pipe’s outer diameter so the boot stretches snugly around the pipe. Boot is sealed (any sealer that is recommended for silicone + your roof surface) then screwed to roof surface.
Fits pipe from 6″ to 12″ outer diameter (trim to fit). The 18″ x 18″ base gives you more room to form the boot over metal roof profiles and steeper pitches, on saunas, workshops, fishing shacks, RVs, boats and other small spaces.
Pitch Limitations:
Rated for roof pitches from 0° to 45° (flat up to 12/12). Do not install on roofs steeper than 12/12.
Install tip: on a 10/12 to 12/12 pitch, or on deep corrugations, the square base can be turned on point (diamond orientation), with one corner pointing toward the roof peak.
Any combustible materials must be removed to 2″ away from the insulated pipe passing through the roof. A non-combustible roof (e.g. a metal roof with no wood sheathing underneath) can be cut closer to the pipe, but not touching.
For more steeply pitched roofs, check out the Extreme Angle Pipe Boot.
