What a ceiling support box does
The box sets into an opening in the ceiling and is fastened in place, so it carries the chimney’s weight. The chimney twist-locks onto the top of the support section and continues up through the attic and roof. Below the ceiling, the MightyVent 4″ Single Wall to Insulated Adapter twist-locks into the bottom of the support section, and your single wall stove pipe connects to the adapter.
What makes MightyVent different
- Insulated support section. It has the same ceramic fiber insulation and 304 stainless walls as the pipe, plus two heavy stainless flanges.
- Adjustable trim. The square trim rings adjust from 0 to 45°, for a clean finish on flat or sloped ceilings.
- UL listed. Part of the MightyVent UL 103 Type HT chimney system.
