Unique Tiny Wood Stove Setup in a Forest School

Brook Wendorf runs a forest school on 14 acres outside Abrams, Wisconsin, and for the past year a Tiny Wood Stove has kept her “Warming Shack” running through the winter. There’s no electricity or gas out on the property, so wood heat was really the only option. Now it’s where her students eat snack and hear stories after mornings spent outside, splitting firewood, doing chores, and exploring the woods. Brook talks about why she chose a wood stove over the canvas tent setup she used to rely on, how the built-in oven turned into an unexpected bonus for baking bread and cinnamon rolls, and what she’d add to the property if money weren’t an issue (hint: more tiny buildings, more tiny stoves).
